2. Collar

The cutaway is the most fashionate business style collar. It shows the widest spread of all colar types.

This version of the classic cutaway I has longer points and a slightly larger spread. As a consequence, this collar type looks more dominant than type I.

A collar with a wider spread compared to the Kent collar to accomodate a Windsor knot tie.

The Kent collar is the classic collar type from which many different styles evolved. The Kent collar is traditionally used for smoking shirts.

The London collar is one of the many variations of the Kent collar. It is narrower compared to the Kent collar and has longer points. Only a simple knot is needed.

The button-down is a collar type with a small spread and the points are fixed with two little buttons to the shirt. Not suitable for formal occassions (at least in Europe) but more widely used for semi formal and casual shirts.

Tab collars have a narrow spread and must always be used with a tie. A small link, which is hidden beneath the knot of the tie, connects both points.

Same like the Tab collar (round) but with points like the Button-down collar.

The Vario collar is made out of a single piece. It is variable in width and is particularly useful for a short neck. It tends to communicat a sportive, elegant life-style and is never used with a tie. It is particularly suitable for short sleeved summer shirts.

This is the most original of all types of collars. Again, you can choose from different heights.
