Looking back

In 1937 the manufacturers Fritz and Karl Oelkrug acquired the local company "Lammfromm and Biedermann" then located in der Hermannsstreet. Fritz Oelkrug was in control of the W?schefabrik Augsburg F. & K. Oelkrug until 1975. His son Fritz Oelkrug jun. together with his wife Ute Oelkrug continued the business named OELKRUG Ma?hemden. Since that time the shop is located at the Elias-Holl-Platz. In 2005 the grandchildren of Fritz Oelkrug (sen.), Bernhard und Dorothee Stadler, took over the business now specialised in custom tailored shirts.

				Elias-Holl-Platz 4 as in the year 1859. Our shop is now located in the building in the middle of the picture. You might guess that by now finding empty parking space is much more difficult.
