In 1937 the manufacturers Fritz and Karl Oelkrug acquired the local company "Lammfromm and Biedermann" then located in der Hermannsstreet. Fritz Oelkrug was in control of the W?schefabrik Augsburg F. & K. Oelkrug until 1975. His son Fritz Oelkrug jun. together with his wife Ute Oelkrug continued the business named OELKRUG Ma?hemden. Since that time the shop is located at the Elias-Holl-Platz. In 2005 the grandchildren of Fritz Oelkrug (sen.), Bernhard und Dorothee Stadler, took over the business now specialised in custom tailored shirts.
